Breckenridge Real Estate Market Update
The Breckenridge real estate market is truly soaring right now. Overall, sales are up 10 percent and pending sales are also on the rise by 40 percent! Those are some numbers to shout about. For both of these reasons, my market update can’t help but be pretty upbeat this month.
In addition, the average amount of time to sell a property in Summit County is down by 3.2 percent. Also, the average sold price has grown by 2.6 percent. The most interesting aspect of those figures is that since pending transactions are expected to go up, the average sold price will most likely increase as well. You can be sure I’ll be watching these numbers very carefully over as the year progresses.
In looking at each side of Summit County, there are some fluctuations to report. The north side is enjoying some fantastic results with sales up 25.5 percent. Homes priced between $500,000 and $1 million are seeing a whopping 65 percent increase. Properties that are priced under $500,000 are also benefitting with a 15.2 percent growth.
While the north side seems to have a winning sales formula, the south side is struggling a bit. Both the $500,000 to $1 million and the under $500,000 categories are down 6.3 percent and 14.7 percent respectively. However, as I’ve always said, the real estate market can change in a heartbeat. You never know when the sales will shift from one region to another.
Keep checking back with my blog for the latest numbers. I’ll be monitoring any changes and I’ll make sure to update you as soon as there’s news to share!
