Breckenridge CO Real Estate Market Update
The peak selling season for Breckenridge, CO real estate is here and should last another month or so. That means Summit County could experience upwards of 40 to 50 more properties go under contract over that period of time. In the subsequent 4 weeks, an estimated 30 properties will probably receive offers. Then as fall gets underway, the contract activity tends to taper off.
However, its clear there’s quite a bit of movement happening in Breckenridge and throughout Summit County right now. In fact, county wide, sales are up by 6.8 percent with the average sold price at a 4.9 percent increase. It’s an understatement to say this is a great development.
On the north side of Summit County, there is a substantial 11.9 percent growth in sales. Unfortunately, the sold price has only gone up a slight 1.8 percent. Yet the south side is seeing the reverse at this time with flat sales, but an average sold price of 10.2 percent. That’s a dramatic and welcome jump in price!
This is terrific news for the south side and a very positive forecast overall. In my experience, the southern part of Summit County enjoys an active selling season at this point in the summer. Therefore, it should be exciting to see how the next month or so plays out.
As always, I’ll keep you posted about any additional progress in Summit County real estate. It’s wonderful to share such an optimistic market update with you and I’m eager to see what the future has in store!
