Real Estate Summit County CO: Market Update
I have good news to report for this month’s Summit County, CO real estate update. Sales in the Summit County market have gone up 1.7 percent so far this year and the average sold price has risen 7.1 percent!
For a while, the inventory of homes had been down around 10 percent, but inventory has actually increased so it is now at minus 7.4 percent instead. That means more homes and condos are for sale all around Summit County.
When it comes to activity, the north and south side of the county have different stories to share. Currently, the north side is seeing sales down by .4 percent for the amount of properties sold. However, this number is slowly improving as we make it through the year. The average sold price is slightly up at 1.3 percent.
Moving onto the south side, the number of residential sales has gained by 4.2 percent. Plus, the average sold price is enjoying a 10.7 percent gain.
Overall, there is a lot to be happy about with the current state of Summit County’s real estate market. Little improvements can lead to bigger numbers down the road. I’ll make sure to keep you updated!
